Róbert György Benke

Róbert graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Being one of the founders of BORD Architectural Studio, Róbert is now a senior board member. As a project architect he managed many of our projects, from the Etyeki Kuria Winery to the Nagyerdei Stadium just to name a few. He also coordinated the design team for the reconstruction of the Ybl Villa in the Castle District of Buda for many years.

He has been representing BORD as Managing Director and co-owner since 2016. During the expansion of our office, he had a great share in founding the structural organisation of the studio. His immense professional experience and outstanding precision makes him indispensible in the strategic decisions of the office. As board member he takes part in decision making, while as chief coordinator he is familiar with all the projects and provides reliable background for the design groups.

He considers the Studio on of his children but in his private life, his family comes first. He plays tennis and is a great NFL fan. During family travels he likes to recharge batteries in nature and enjoy the ocean.
