At the request of PERI, we organized a classroom renovation design competition, which is part of the restoration of the BKSZC Schulek Frigyes Bilingual Construction Technicum’s heritage building. The goal of the competition was to creatively utilize PERI’s iconic formwork and scaffolding elements, while taking into account the atmosphere of the space and the brand’s visual identity.

The Aquaticum Thermal Spa in Debrecen features outstanding green architectural and engineering solutions. The project aimed to maximize the use of renewable energy sources, including thermal water heat utilization, water-to-water heat pumps, and waste heat recovery, ensuring that up to 50-70% of the spa’s heating needs are met by renewable energy.

We organized a drawing competition titled “The beach is ours!” for children living in Debrecen and its surrounding areas, inviting them to capture what they love most about going to the beach. BORD Architectural Studio has designed several significant buildings connected to the Nagyerdő area in Debrecen, such as the Nagyerdei Stadium, the Forest Offices, the International School of Debrecen, and the Aquaticum Thermal Spa. As a Natura 2000 protected area, Nagyerdő has become an important recreational center, supported by recent developments in the area.

The construction of the Sauska sparkling wine cellar has begun in Budafok, where the technology will be housed in the old cellar tunnels. A modern facility is being built under the 400-meter-long cellar, and in the future, there will be a visitor center and a restaurant as well. The work started in the summer and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

The Forest Offices office building in Debrecen has been handed over, designed by BORD Architectural Studio and awarded LEED Gold certification. The building spans 22,000 square meters and provides space for 2,500 employees. Its futuristic exterior and transparent glass structure exude elegance and unity.

The Dóczy Residential Park in Debrecen, designed by us, won the Construction Industry Excellence Award in the multi-apartment building category. The 237-apartment, stepped building complex was the largest residential development in Debrecen over the past two decades, and with its dynamic massing, it set a new direction for the city’s urban rhythm.

The e-sports arena is being built at the MTK New Hidegkuti Nándor Stadium, designed by BORD, with a capacity of 200 people. In addition to the arena, the facility will also include a clubhouse and practice rooms.
