PERI‘s motto, “Shaping the Future,” is now also connected to the classroom renovation project at the protected building of Schulek Frigyes Dual Language Construction Technology Secondary School in the 8th district of Budapest. The design competition required the creative use of PERI’s iconic formwork and scaffolding elements. The professional jury evaluated the entries based on how they represented the PERI brand and the atmosphere of the space—these were the two most important criteria.
The winning design presents a livable, harmonious interior, featuring inventive details with PERI’s colors as the dominant theme. After the award ceremony, the refinement of the design continued at BORD Architectural Studio. The team of three enthusiastic schoolgirls spent a full day working alongside our architect colleagues.
The plans are expected to be realized during the summer, so the new school term can begin in the renovated classroom this September. In the meantime, we wish the winning team a wonderful trip, as the grand prize includes a three-day professional study tour, including a city sightseeing tour, to PERI’s headquarters in Germany.
