Tamás graduated from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2003 and began his career at Zoboki-Demeter and Partners Architectural Studio. In 2007, he became more involved with BORD Architectural Studio, where he served as the project manager for the design of HOLDVÖLGY (Moon Valley) in Mád and the Visitor Centre at Korda Studios. Due to his excellent problem-solving skills and complex thinking, he quickly became Péter’s right-hand in design competitions, a role he held for many years. One of their early projects was the international competition for the Warsaw Concert Hall, where they received an honorable mention. Tamás is also an IT expert, and for many years, he combined his architectural leadership with managing the office’s IT systems. His colleagues affectionately nicknamed him “Houston” after the movie Apollo 13, reflecting his significant role in the team.
In 2017, Tamás moved to Zurich to help establish the Swiss branch of BORD Studio, together with Péter. As the manager of Bordstudio GmbH, he has worked on several Swiss residential park projects while continuing to participate in international design competitions as part of the Hungarian team. His logical, analytical, and complex thinking make him an indispensable part of the team.
Living in Switzerland allows Tamás to indulge in his favorite hobby: hiking. He loves the Swiss mountains and forests and enjoys spending long hours walking in nature, which both inspires and relaxes him.
